I’m a chemistry student at Greenville Technical College, determined to earn my doctorate and one day contribute to discoveries that push humanity forward—whether at the CDC, NASA, or another leading organization.

My journey has been anything but easy. I’ve battled depression, coming dangerously close to losing myself, but I fought back. Seeking help and committing to self-care saved my life. Now, I take each day as it comes, strengthening my mind and body, step by step.

Education became my way forward. Inspired by my mother, who also attended GTC, I chose this path and have worked tirelessly to fund my own education. My chemistry classes—especially those with Mr. Cloud and Mr. Brame—have fueled my passion and reinforced my purpose.

Receiving this scholarship means more than financial relief—it’s a lifeline. It allows me to focus on my studies, dream without limits, and work toward a future where I can give back, using science to make a real difference. Thank you for believing in students like me—we won’t let you down.
