Some of my happiest memories have been made in the kitchen. Baking and cooking have always brought me joy, and that passion inspired me to pursue Culinary Arts at Greenville Technical College (GTC). I chose GTC because of its outstanding culinary program and its commitment to preparing students for successful careers.

My dream is to become a pastry chef while continuing my education to become a licensed dietitian and nutritionist. I want to help people discover that healthy food can be both nourishing and enjoyable, changing the way they think about eating. My parents, especially my mom, have taught me the value of hard work and perseverance, reminding me that no challenge is too great when you refuse to give up.

The biggest obstacle I’ve faced has been paying for college. I’ve worked hard to save every dollar I can, but balancing school, finances, and my future goals hasn’t always been easy.

Your generosity has lifted a tremendous weight from my shoulders. This scholarship has replaced uncertainty with hope, allowing me to focus on learning, growing, and pursuing the future I’ve worked so hard to achieve.
