Jay S., a former football star with NFL dreams, faced a devastating blow when eligibility changes shattered his aspirations. After years of struggling to find his footing, he discovered a new field at Greenville Technical College (GTC). Through the African American Male Scholars Initiative, Jay is thriving. He’s not only excelling in his studies, earning an associate’s degree and pursuing a bachelor’s in computer science, but he’s also inspiring others.
