I’ve beaten cancer, faced multiple blood clots and had to withdraw from college twice because of my health. But through it all, I never gave up on my future.

My passion for technology began during the COVID-19 pandemic when I started building gaming computers. What began as a hobby became something I wanted to turn into a career. That’s what brought me to Greenville Technical College to study Computer Technology.

Returning to school after so much time away wasn’t easy. I struggled with English and math, but through tutoring, support from my professors and determination, I kept moving forward.

Receiving this scholarship means more than financial support. It reminds me that my hard work and perseverance are recognized. After everything I’ve been through, that encouragement means so much.

My next steps are to earn my CompTIA certifications and pursue a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. I’m excited to keep learning and build a career doing something I love.

I would like to sincerely thank the donor who made this scholarship possible. Your generosity means more to me than just financial support; it has given me encouragement and the opportunity to continue pursuing my education and building a better future.

After everything I have overcome to return to school, receiving this scholarship reminds me that my hard work and perseverance are worth it. Your support allows me to keep moving forward toward my educational and career goals. Thank you for believing in students like me and for making an investment in my future that I will always appreciate.
