As a single parent of five, now a grandparent of four, I’ve faced countless challenges. But I’ve always found strength in adversity. A few years ago, health issues forced me to reevaluate my career. With unwavering determination, I returned to school at Greenville Technical College to pursue a second career in Respiratory Care. This scholarship is a significant step towards my goal of becoming a Registered Respiratory Therapist, specializing in pediatric and neonatal care. I’m grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young patients.
