My passion for advanced manufacturing began by watching my mother build a career as a quality engineer while also being an incredible parent. She taught me the value of hard work, professionalism, and higher education. Inspired by her example, I earned my associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology and am now pursuing Greenville Technical College’s Bachelor of Applied Science in Advanced Manufacturing Technology—the College’s first bachelor’s degree program. Its flexible format allows me to continue working full-time while earning my bachelor’s degree.

My goal is to build a career in quality engineering, where I can solve complex problems, improve systems, and help manufacturers operate more efficiently. Every class and every challenge brings me one step closer to achieving that dream.

Balancing full-time work, school, my health, and family life hasn’t been easy. As the primary breadwinner for my wife and me, there have been times when the financial pressure felt overwhelming. Even so, I knew earning my degree would create opportunities for a better future, so I kept moving forward.
