After serving in the Army as an infantryman, I found myself preparing for a different kind of mission: building a new future for my family.

My curiosity about how things work and how everyday products are made inspired me to return to school at Greenville Technical College and pursue a career in manufacturing.

The transition from military service to the classroom hasn’t been easy. Learning alongside students with different backgrounds and experiences has been an adjustment, but it’s also reminded me that we’re all working toward the same goal: creating a better future.

Through every challenge, my wife and children have been my greatest motivation. My wife stands beside me, supporting my dreams, while my children remind me every day why I keep pushing forward. I want them to see that no matter where life takes you, it’s never too late to learn, grow, and pursue something new.

This scholarship has lifted a financial burden, letting me spend less time worrying about tuition and more time focusing on my education. It’s more than financial support. It’s encouragement to keep going and reassurance that someone believes in my future.
