Greenville Tech Foundation’s Ann Wright Receives 2023 SC Women in Business Award

July 10, 2023 (GREENVILLE, SC) – Ann Wright, Vice President for Advancement, has been named as a recipient of the 2023 SC Women in Business award. Each year this event is held to celebrate the spirit and culture of Women in Business. Women professionals return to this event year after year to network, share their stories, and find inspiration to power their journey forward.

Wright has led the Foundation since 2017 in its efforts to support Greenville Technical College’s mission to transform students’ lives and help the community thrive by providing a world-class, affordable education. She is a perpetual and significant force for change — pushing the Foundation to do more to support Greenville Technical College students and help the college continue to grow so that it can better serve the greater community.

“Ann’s passion for student success and strong leadership at the Greenville Tech Foundation have allowed countless barriers to be overcome for those we serve,” said Dr. Keith Miller, president of Greenville Technical College. “Thanks to the efforts of Ann and her team, students are graduating with relevant skills and businesses are finding the employees needed to grow.”

“Ann Wright has made an impact on countless individuals, families, and communities throughout the Upstate community during her 40-plus years of public service,” said David Sudduth, Greenville Tech Foundation Board Chair. “As the Foundation celebrates 50 years of impact, Ann continues to look ahead to the growing needs of the region. Her ability to envision a future of limitless possibilities is what sets her apart and why she is deserving of this award.”

Wright, along with the other 2023 Women in Business honorees, will be recognized at a celebratory luncheon hosted by Integrated Media Publishing at Judson Mill on August 17, 2023.
