Two supporters of Greenville Technical College, through their gifts to the Greenville Tech Foundation, were honored at the College’s graduation on May 7th. Dolores, Dodie, Anderson was recognized as the College’s Alumna of the Year, and Ralph Hendricks received recognition as the Honorary Alum of the Year.
Representative of the TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, presents a $10,000 gift to the Greenville Tech Foundation. The gift will support the English as a Second Language program at Greenville Technical College that provides assistance to Hispanic students who are citizens or legal residents. Because of generous persons, corporations and local foundations the Greenville Tech Foundation raised nearly $1.5 million in 2012. More than 110 donors joined the Foundation and College leadership and student scholarship recipients to celebrate at the Greenville Country Club on March 21st.
AFL has given the Greenville Tech Foundation $3,000 to be used for scholarship assistance for students in the Quick Jobs With a Future program at Greenville Technical College.
